The tradeoff is consistent. Proximity buys convenience but limits scale and choice, while moving inland buys calibre and space at the cost of a short daily transfer. Because of that, location is best decided alongside transport planning rather than raw distance, and we treat where a group stays and how it moves as a single decision.
