The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is unusually well suited to corporate travel because the week mixes elite golf, amateur partners, sponsors, hospitality and private client time. For 2027, the event runs from 1 to 7 February and returns as a PGA TOUR Signature Event with 80 professionals and 80 amateurs.

Corporate accommodation should be built around the company's programme rather than a generic list of houses. The most important questions are who needs to stay together, which guests need individual bedrooms, how often people will move independently and whether one residence is expected to host breakfast, meetings or private dining.
Start with the hierarchy of the group
A ten-person company party may contain a chief executive, senior clients, account leads and operational staff. Treating all ten as one undifferentiated accommodation block can produce the wrong result.
A principal residence can work for senior leadership and key clients, while additional guests stay in nearby homes or hotels. For larger delegations, a hybrid structure is often cleaner than trying to find one oversized residence.
Thursday and Friday create a different operating pattern
The first two tournament rounds use Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course. On Saturday and Sunday, play moves to Pebble Beach only. The tournament provides complimentary shuttles between the two courses on Thursday and Friday.
That means a company should think about the first half of the event separately from the weekend. If guests are following different pairings or hospitality programmes, independent transport and accommodation flexibility matter. If the group moves together, one residence can be a strong anchor.
Which area works for executives?
Pebble Beach offers maximum proximity and privacy where the right residence is available. Carmel can be stronger for senior guests who also want walkable restaurants and a high-quality evening environment. Monterey is usually easier for a larger operational team or a mixed hotel-and-residence programme. Carmel Valley works when the property itself is part of the hosting plan.
The principal residence should have a job
A corporate residence should do something useful beyond sleeping the leadership team. It may provide breakfast before departure, a quiet debrief after the golf, a private setting for selected clients or a small dinner where permitted.
If none of those uses matter, a hotel may be simpler. A private residence should earn the additional coordination it requires.
Bedroom equality matters
Corporate groups can become uncomfortable quickly when one executive has an en suite suite and another has a converted room sharing a small bathroom. Count genuine adult bedrooms and review the bathroom arrangement before accepting the headline capacity.
Transport should follow the org chart
The chief executive visiting for 36 hours may need airport-to-residence-to-course movements that are completely different from a sales team staying all week. Build the transport plan around guest roles rather than using one vehicle plan for everyone.
Official tournament transport information should be rechecked closer to February 2027. Current spectator guidance includes designated tournament shuttles, a defined rideshare zone and Thursday-Friday course-to-course shuttles.
Private dining and hosting
If the residence will host additional guests, confirm the property's rules before committing. Parking, noise, catering access, HOA restrictions and maximum visitor numbers can all matter. A residence designed for eight overnight guests is not automatically suitable for a 25-person reception.
Large groups may need a hybrid
For 20 or more people, a common structure is one principal residence plus one or more supporting properties or hotel rooms. This keeps senior guests together without forcing the wider team into a property that does not suit their schedule.
